And since lich/angel have the best spells for blasting you can focus on taking utility spells from your class without falling behind. As for damage, I don't think you'd lose too much if you went Sylvan sorcerer. Rather, what you'd probably miss out on is a few defenses (mainly resists) and a slightly wider spell selection. Especially if you go Winter Witch for +6 caster levels on cold spells, the mythic feat that does more damage when you hit with two different elements, and the Winter Witch ability that makes your cold spells always deal two different kinds of damage. At least some of them got top tier stats this time around so if you can deal with just losing a level you can make some of them decent.
